To be able to use the MatchRanger.com IM system, you will need to make sure that Aol's pop-up blocker is set to allow pop-ups from MatchRanger.com.
1. Click on the pop-up blocker's menu at the bottom of your browser window.
2. Click 'Allow Pop-ups from MatchRanger.com' to allow the buddylist to open.
In order to take advantage of everything that MatchRanger.com has to offer, you must enable javascript on your web browser. By allowing
javascript, you will be use the all the features of MatchRanger.com such as instant messaging and instant notification alerts. Enabling
javascript is very easy and can be turned on and off at anytime. However, when it is disabled you will get this page every time you
click a feature that requires javascript.
How to Enable Javascript in Microsoft Internet Explorer and America Online
1. In the Tools menu select Internet Options...
America Online Versions 4 to 6
Click the "My AOL" icon on the tool bar.
Click "Preferences."
Click the "WWW" icon.
Follow step 1 above. America Online Version 7.0
Click Settings on the AOL tool bar.
Click Preferences
Click Internet Properties (WWW)
Follow step 1 above
2. Go to Security tab
3. If "Security Level" is set to high you don't have scripting enabled (see image on right). Either set it to medium under "default level"
or go to custom level and under "security settings" enable scripting (see image below)
As a final step, click the MatchRanger.com logo above and re-login again. You should be set.
How to Enable Javascript in Netscape Navigator 4.x
1. Click Edit on the tool bar.
2. Click Preferences at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
3. Click Advanced in the "Category" window of the "Preferences" dialog box.
4. Click the check box labeled Enable JavaScript.
5. Click OK

1. Go to Edit from your menu bar, choose Preference
2. Under Web Browser, click Web Content
3. In the Active Content section, check ENABLE SCRIPTING.
4. click OK.
